Important: Health forms MUST be complete before the camper arrives at camp. This is for the safety of the camper and expedites medical treatment in the case of an emergency. 

Payment: Mission West will invoice your congregation for all of the participants who successfully registered by the deadline. Invoices will be sent to congregations before the event and after the event has concluded. Please include a copy of your invoice with your check.

  • Camp Information

  • Each person volunteering as a sponsor or steward must have 3 reference forms on file in the office.  One of those references must be a pastor/youth pastor/ youth worker/elder from your congregation.  References must not be related to the applicant in any way.


    Download the reference form and email to missionwest@ccsw.org when completed. 

  • Background check are required annually by the state of Texas.  


    Please check with the Mission West office to see if you have a background check within the last year.  


    If your congregation has run a background check on you in the past year and it is clear, we may use that instead of running another one.  Please have your office administrator send the "all clear" page to our office at missionwest@ccsw.org so we  and the campgrounds may have it on file.

    This camp is for the 2017-2018 Area Officers of the MYC, Mission West Youth Council. Please make if you have a youth that is a part of this council they register for the camp by June 15.

Various scholarships are available for students and churches who may need financial assistance to attend camps.  Please fill out the form and provide as much information as possible.  The Associate Area Minister, Director of the event, your pastor, and scholarship entity will review your application and contact you.  Please apply for scholarships as soon as possible.

Applications are currently being accepted for Area Officers (AO's) for the Mission West Ministry Youth Council for the 2017 - 2018 camping season.  Applicants must be a sophmore, junior or senior starting in the fall of 2017 and have attended a Central Area or Hi Plains & Tres Rio CYF Conference Summer Camp in its entirety prior to his/her election OR attend the 2017 Mission West Summer camp.

Mission West Youth Meetings are open to everyone who wants to attend to foster transparency and open lines of communication. It is required of each camp director, area youth council moderators, and outdoor committee chairs. Below you will find the history of how we are coming together as Mission West.

Report from Conversation about the Future of Camping in Mission West Released 10/9/2013

On Saturday, October 5, 2013 leaders from the Hi-Plains, Tres Rios and Central Areas youth and outdoor ministry committees met for relationship building and a discussion of how God is calling us to engage in outdoor ministry for the years to come. We spent time sharing stories of how we came to love camping ministries, what we thought the purpose was in outdoor ministry and made sure our concerns would be addressed in this time together. We also discussed what we can improve upon and what we do well. Did you know? 

Previously these teams and councils were called YMT (Youth Ministry Team) AYC (Area Youth Council) AO's (Area Officers).  Last summer in 2015 at the Christian Youth leadership Seminar the student leaders voted to call themselves the Mission West  Ministry Youth Council because their focus is on Ministering to the youth of Mission West.
